THE UNIVERSAL MIND

New book - by Peter Weisz

UNIVERSAL MIND HR SMALL full front cover

Who are we? What is the mind, what is consciousness and what is reality? This book offers educated answers and explanations to all these questions and more. It motivates the reader to reconsider everything they think they know about themselves and the world today, examining the different models of creation and evolution, the essence of matter and of life itself, exploring all manner of scientific, theological, psychological and philosophical hypotheses. It posits the notion that we are all connected to a universal mind, which preceded the presence of our, and all universes, emanating from the pure potential that existed before time itself. It advances a variety of erudite ideas concerning the unperceived mechanisms which have set this world in motion, whilst also querying the way we live from day to day and what we have come to accept as “normal” life. Can it be, that this complex, living, breathing, sophisticated, opinionated, creative and conscious entity that we call human, is made up merely from a few invisible atoms of nothingness? We are not simply made from flesh and blood, we are beings of an infinity of dimensions, too vast to contemplate, but our brains and our senses are only able to perceive that which is rooted in matter, for that is the substance from which we believe we are made. We are indeed slaves to a gross illusion.

Although it contains many intellectual concepts, touching on various scientific and metaphysical theories, this is a thought provoking book that can be read by anyone of any adult age, bringing to light an array of esoteric concepts, offering many ideas and suggestions as to how to be able to realize and utilize our full abilities as human beings and how to attain a peaceful state of mind. It is much more than a self-help book. It encourages the reader to step back and take a deeper look inside themselves, to question their belief systems and their instincts and to understand how their ego-controlled decision making affects their lives. This book has been described as a blend of writings from such authors as Deepak Chopra, Greg Braden, M. Scott Peck, Jack Kerouac, Christopher Hitchens, Paul Davies, Steven Pinker and more ancient writers such as Kahlil Gibran, Rumi and others of similar ilk.

REVIEWS

“A brilliant, thought provoking book…a stellar example of how it is that we, as humans, can make a difference if we just stretch our minds a bit. The Universal Mind steps away from the pack, and offers a bit of a pause to ponder.”

(MARY ANN D’ALTO - Author's Review)

“Peter really has something that is beyond a gift. Wisdom and power that could change this world. This book is quite extraordinary in its content. Especially part 2, where some very difficult questions of life and the illusion of reality are tackled with complete lucidity and learned understanding. It has opened my eyes to many things, including most importantly, how this universe and we as human beings came into existence and how we can reconnect to each other, because our minds are all connected, instead of living with the feeling of being separate. It offers explanations as to how we can essentially begin to create our own realities through deep intent. This book, for me, has shed a totally new light on many things. Incredibly thought provoking. You have to read it to grasp it fully.”

(THE WRITER - Review)

“The Universal Mind, in my eye I foresee, is the first of a series of Weisz scriptures, or at least should be. The book helps the reader ask the right questions of self and surroundings… to realise honesty through contemplation and clear observance. Peter is musical, creative and filled with facts and with the intelligence to link this to a science, makes for a truly universal perspective - and so the wisdom to see our thoughts as the best medicine.”

(HUNTER PRAVAHA – Co-founder, Flowing Nomads Yoga and Meditation Centre)

“Everyone has their own questions and Peter makes it feel comfortable to question and seek. His logical and searching approach makes me want to look outside this little box of "because it is always done that way" and to find a new way of looking at things.  This book is powerful and I feel very much enlightened just knowing that a modern-day philosopher says, let’s question with this universal mind. An excellent read that kept me re-evaluating why I believe as I do. Even more, he has me asking myself, do I actually believe what I think I do?”

(VICKI GOODWIN – Literary review)

EXTRACTS

What am I? I am the unperceived. I am the reflection and the voice of the untainted potential. I am the source. I am the “All That Is”. I am the eternal and everlasting “I”. I am the Universal Mind. I am not of your life and I exist in and beyond your created universe. I care nothing for your mere world of matter, and even less for your preachers, teachers and scholars. I am the thoughts in your head, the visions in your mind and the words that here appear before you. I have been, I am and I will always be. I search for nothing for I have everything already. I hold all eternity in my grasp. I need no teachers for I am all. Together now we may embark on a new journey of deep thought and contemplation, to discover and understand the meaning of INTENT and KNOWING."

It is your observation that creates, and your expectations that bring into existence what you call matter. For matter is part of your created illusion and cannot exist without the interaction and participation of the observer. The observer is consciousness, which has arisen from the pure potential, which is now you.

It is your time to understand that you are beings of an infinity of dimensions too vast to contemplate in your undernourished physical brains. Everything that is, is you. You are not purely matter, you are a multitude of things, but you perceive only your body and do not connect with your further being of spirit and soul.

"Oh, creators of the universe and all that is, here is the time, and here are the signs. Your consciousness is born into you and you are remembering. There shall be no more wars in the name of god, for who is so sanctified amongst you, so haughty and superior, that they may delegate a label or a category to the timeless, the eternal, the unseen and the unknown? All your “godly” wars have been strictly and only in the name of man, and you suffer from sickness and megalomania and desire to claim tiny parts of this universe for yourselves. How arrogant you are in assuming that you may possess any part of this globe upon which you live, for undeniably, it is the earth that owns you and not you who own the earth."

If you would speak, my child, with your soul, what would you ask of it? How long have you been prison guard to a helpless and withering victim of a blind and reveling hoard of flesh? You seek to reach the stars whilst your soul lies rotting in a fetid dungeon. Your aim is to cover yourself with more riches and jewels whilst your soul lies decaying with rats and spiders. You satisfy your greed with the finest choice foods and wines whilst your soul starves and withers from consumption.

"You do not yet understand, oh masters and mistresses of all that is, for flesh is restricting and like a vine it binds you and as in quicksand you sink screaming to your muddy deaths only to be reborn to another existence of which you know not. If you truly understood, you would not seek eternal life for the flesh, but you would seek only to remember and reconnect with who and what you are."

"How muddled you have become as your brains of perceived matter struggle through logic alone, to make sense of the “All that is”. It is enough to say that you are at the centre of the “All that is”. For if all is infinity, then every single point will be at the centre. Therefore, you all occupy the same “space” and “time”. All that exists as a construct of the great Universal Mind is but a single point at the centre of all infinities, which is everywhere."

"I ask this of you all. How would it be for you now if you could be free from all the pains which torment you. If all your worries and fears were dissolved as ice in fire. If all your traumas and tribulations were taken from you in an instant. If you had no longer to concern yourself with achievements and material gain. If jealousy and envy were lifted from your brow, and hatred and contempt drawn off your burdened shoulders. If you had no need for adulation and admiration. If you could be without sickness, anxiety and despair. If physical pain no more terrified you and mental anguish ceased to cause perplexity to your minds. If hurt and grief were no longer a consideration and confusion and bewilderment were expelled from your thoughts. For I tell you now that this state of being is available to you all and will comfort you all in the goodness of time. For this is called death - and this is the return to the source of the eternal mind. But yet you fear it as you fear the demons of your dreams. Why fear the absolute truth and the absolute love that awaits you in your time of discovery? For death to your bodies means birth to your spirit, and it is truly spirit that you are, yet you do not remember. You are the spaces between the leaves but you live as the leaves themselves, numbering your days and counting your hours until the time of your greatest fear shall arise. Fear not this time, for it will awaken you from the illusion you call life and you will then re-join to the Universal Mind which is all and everything."

"Your houses of worship are the greatest stages upon which you all play a most wonderful act of holiness and goodness, yet your lives are filled with war and hatred even for your families and so called loved ones. You gossip and demean each other behind the closed doors of your dwellings and you reveal only that part of yourself to others that you alone deem to be acceptable. How wonderfully you perform, but it is all false, for you know the truth of your own thoughts and you are far less than saintly when no one else is aware of your doings or behaviours. You spit at each other through your artificial smiles and your only intention is to create an impression for others to see you as your false self. For in inducing the admiration of others you lessen your own fears and gain adulation which feeds only your animal soul, whilst the true soul of your higher being cries and screams for recognition and nurture."

"You have created for yourselves a world of addictions, which is a world of “more”. You are under the misguided impression that “more” is good. You waste your time searching for things outside of yourself to make you feel fulfilled, but you have everything inside of you. The whole universe and all its contents can be revealed by seeking within. Every action or substance that you crave, you believe will make you satisfied and complete. But the truth is that this will lead only to even greater craving and obsession. Your religions are nought but addictions. Your whole lives and all your choices are based around addictions. Whatever you crave, that is what you will waste your lives pursuing. And what is your foremost addiction? It is to money. It is money that you all desire and you work yourselves into your graves in pursuit of money and all the bogus promises that it provides. You worship it and pray for it under the false impression that it will buy you happiness, peace and serenity. You believe that money will procure for you a place in heaven on earth but in reality, it will only lead you to the desire to gain more money and it will bring you nothing but false happiness, which is not peace and which is not serenity of the heart and will only serve to distract you on your journey to re-connect to the source."

"You have made money into your primary god, but it indeed your greatest foe and your most supreme devil. Its cunningness will lead you into false security. The rich man suffers as he panders to his money which is likened to his child. He protects it and nurtures it and wastes all his energy on pursuing this worthless objective. For money will not last forever. And it creates jealousy and hatred in this world. None of you will ever have enough money to satisfy your starving souls and the pursuit of money will lead you only into a state of wanting, not a state of well-being, for however much you have, you will always want more and as long as your brain wants things it will always want things. Those things that you don’t manage to accumulate will leave you wanting. Therefore, you will always be subject to the perils of addiction, which is a state of wanting more."

"One single lifetime may seem full and complicated, but can you conceive of living every life that has ever been or will ever be lived. For you shall and are surely doing that. You are everything and you have lived as kings, queens, paupers, murderers and saints. But you do not remember. How would your simple brains of matter be able to cope with the knowledge, understanding and experience of every single living thing of matter that has ever been and will ever be, from the lowliest sleeping cell to the highest thinking human? Therefore, as a single separate human entity you cannot begin to perceive such thoughts, for matter is not constructed to carry the energy of all that is."

"The living universes are but constructs of your brains to which you assign your own ideas of time and space, for in truth, time and space do not exist. You live as pure potential and your known universes are only pure potential. Before the beginning of time as you know it, there was only pure potential. It has existed and will continue to exist for always. In this infinity of potential, all potentialities will arise and an infinity of happenings has already arisen. There is infinite potential still and an infinite number of happenings occur at every moment but you perceive only one thing for each moment, for that is the limit of your construction."

"Remember and KNOW who you are and seek within, not without - and then you will find. Do not make the mistake of assuming your minds are created by your brains, for surely it is your brain, your body and your whole universe that is a construct of your mind."

"Your world was created from the potential that lay in the stillness. From the potential came movement and consciousness and thus your universe was born and everything beyond your universe. Until this very day it is only movement that pervades your existence completely, creating the matter which you perceive to be real and of which you presume to be a part. Even beyond the death of your body there is still movement as the living entity is transformed into further movement of the potential of particles and matter. Until you can understand and contemplate complete and utter stillness, it is only movement that you will experience and movement will continue to rule your lives and perceptions."
